Overview
Employed as a Senior UX Specialist at Globant to support Rockwell Automation in the redefinition of its core industrial software platform. This role required both hands-on design contributions and strategic coordination across teams, including managing designers from the Globant Design Studio.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Served as primary liaison between Globant’s UX team and Rockwell stakeholders to align product goals and timelines.
- UX Research & Analysis:
- Coordinated research initiatives with the UX research team.
- Led competitor analysis and heuristic evaluations using the PURE analytical method.
- Mapped key user flows and prioritized critical tasks for validation.
- Synthesis & Communication:
- Synthesized qualitative data with fellow designers to surface usability and accessibility issues.
- Created detailed documentation and reports in Confluence to socialize research insights.
- Presented findings to cross-functional teams, supporting data-informed design decisions.
- Design Execution:
- Created wireframes, flows, and interactive prototypes.
- Wrote actionable user stories in Jira to support backlog prioritization.
- Team Leadership & Mentoring:
- Mentored junior designers and reviewed their deliverables.
- Assigned tasks and tracked progress for international design contributors.
- Managed a distributed design team within the Globant Design Centre.
